Feelin' the Groove

So it's been 6 months now since I've gone back to taking dance classes. Though I found myself pretty much the only one in our group who's had a real background in dancing, it wasn't THAT easy to just get my groove back :(


Of course I anticipated the sore muscles on my first few weeks but to realize how far I've lagged behind in training was a hurtful eye-opener. I mean, I did stop dancing for about 3 years, AND I'm no longer in my teen years (duh!).


But surprise, surprise! I now feel my body getting back to my old groove. I could do high kicks, I could execute clean double turns, and my body doesn't ache anymore after class! Now, it's just a matter of maintaining the routine or I will be back to square one...
