A Vancouver First: Macaron Day! (Jour du Macaron)

Get this: Thierry Chocolate Pattiserie Cafe' will celebrate the first ever Vancouver Macaron Day! You see, Macaron Day has been happening since four years ago in many places like Paris, New York and Toronto - so really, Vancouver's jumping in the bandwagon is quite expected (but a tad late, I would say). 

So, make sure you head your way to Thierry on March 20, when each customer who comes into the coffee shop will get a FREE MACARON! At the same time, they will be accepting donation to the BC Children's Hospital. Also, if you buy some macarons that day, 10% of the macaron sales by Thierry will be donated to the Growing Chefs! Chefs for Children's Urban Agriculture, a food-sustainability charity.


I'd say where else can you find reason upon reason to indulge in chocolate and macaron, guilt-free? And no worries about working early or late, Thierry is open from 7AM to 12MN!
