Street Food City 2012

Still on the Dine Out Vancouver 2012 topic. Here's a first: the Street Food City event. If you're like me who likes street food (or any kind of food, actually), then you should check this one out. From January 24 until January 26, a collection of Vancouver's superb street food carts will all be at the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza to sell their yummy fares. The time is limited, from 11AM until 3PM only, so expect downtown workers to crowd the place at lunch break.


That being said, this event is a bit more easy on the budget, with price ranging from $4.50 for a black-bean-and-corn chili to $8 for tandoori chicken wraps. Other fares are: tacos, burritos, pulled pork sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, soups, smoothies, etc.
